Hi Mason, and thank you for your bug report. I am actually using a
Microsoft Laser 6000 mouse myself, but I cannot reproduce the problem
that you describe using the latest updates in Ubuntu as of March 27th
and using software-center version 5.1.13.2. It's possible that this was
a temporary condition, so could you please try updating your system and
see if the problem remains for you? Please report back here in either
case so that we can either close this bug or continue to investigate.

Bug description:
In the software center, scrolling with the mouse wheel does not scroll
the content inside the window up and down. Instead, it sends the
viewport to the very bottom of the content.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 beta 1, and a mouse from the Microsoft laser desktop
6000 set, with a continuous scroll wheel.
The problem also occurs when I use the clickpad on my laptop (HP ProBook
4520s).
--This very well could be a Unity issue, not a Software Center issue--
