Thank you for your bug report, how technical are you (dealing with
command line)? Ideally getting a valgrind log
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Valgrind) would be required to figure what is
wrong in this case, I can guide you though the steps to get one if you
want

I was attempting to copy files over my network in the office. The
computer hosting the files was a macbook running Lion. The crash would
occur shortly after starting a copy and happened consistently even
after reboots of both machines. (It would occur after anywhere from 30
seconds to 2 minutes of copying.)
