ubuntu beta2 is the most unstable lts release I ever tested. For the
last 2 hours I reported crashs in compiz, in unity, in unity 2d, in
banshee and now in rhythmbox, then arista transcoder does output 0byte
files, vmwareplayer does not install and hundreds of small issues all
over the place.

My oh my .. a beta2 should not have so many and such severe bugs that no
music app will work and that the desktop crashes for no reasons .. the
release will be a disaster. In one months this can't be fixed all.

10.0.4 was so good. I hate to say this but everything ubuntu did after
this is a epic failure. I so hoped for 1204 being a LTS that it will
work. I do not see that and I do not see it for April 26th either.

Title:
rhythmbox-metadata crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_value()

Status in The Rhythmbox Music Management Application:
  New
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
I launched rhythmbox and started playing some music. Everything seemed
to work normally and the music played as expected. The Software didn't
crash either. I just got a pop-up saying there was a segfault in
rhythmbox metadata. It had no adverse effects on the actual program
  though.
