Mark, do we care about this now that minor version updates are mostly gone?

However, this has since reappeared after every minor patch release of Thunderbird, although it seems to contain no new information. Could this be disabled so that it only appears when upgrading from an earlier major version (<3.0), rather than from 3.0.x to 3.0.x+1 ?
