Title:
soffice.bin crashed with SIGSEGV
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Its a common crash of LibreOffce v >3.5 and specially 3.51 when
importing certain do and xls documents to LO. It is more frequent on
64 bit machines. I reported this to LO but they claim they cannot
reproduce it. It occurs in two of my 64 bit machines. Some of the doc
which cause LO to crash my 64 bit machines do not crash LO in my Asus
Eee Atom netbook The xls files either are imported OK (with some
files) or crash LO in the 3 machines. The crashes ocurr with Ubuntu
12.04 beta, Linux Mint 11 and Linux Mint 12.
