Same problem here. Thunderbird 11.0 (Ubunu 11.10) is also uses the last added account to send a new create email. This while in I choose the correct account in the From field. I see there the account that I want to use to send the email. The mail is paced in the 2 outboxes (dir .Sent). 1) in the .Sent map of th right account and 2) in the .Sent map of the last added account. Both email have there own sender according to the account. The receiver only gets the email once.
How to reproduce: -------------------------------------- Get Thunderbird 11.01 Make an (IMAP) account. #1 make a second account #2 Compose a email and select account #1 as sender in the From field. Send the email Take a look in both outboxes. The email is in two outboxes. Take a look at the source of the email and see that only the From is different. However, Thunderbird instead selects the last account added (or it might be the last account that was altered, eg by saving a new password).
