Title:
Windows do not swap (by default)
Status in Unity:

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
In Gnome 2.14, a new behaviour was included: "Window edges now have a
magnetic attraction, making it possible to "click" windows together. "
#rnusers-metacity) I kind of liked it. With Unitu, it stopped working.
In Unity/Compiz, I think this is achieved by plugin Swapping Windows
(under Window Management). This plugin is on by default, but under
behaviour tab, only "Screen edges" is ticked, so snapping works with
only screen edges. I think Window Edges should be ticked by default
as well. I kind of missed this feature in unity before I found out I
could reenable it. Or are there some issues with this? Of course,
correct values for Edge resistance distance (or Edge attraction
distance, which is off by default too, but maybe could be turned on as
well) should be found out, but that is why we have design expert,
right?
I could not find this discussed anywhere and I am not sure whether it
should go here or to Ayatana mailing list, but trying it here first.
