Title:
  IRC password lost sometimes

Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I have not managed to reproduce this but:

I'm using freenode IRC with my <username>:<password> combination in
the password field of the Empathy account for identifying against the
  nickserv.

And sometimes, for no reason recogisable, the password does not work
anymore to identify against nickserv. After setting the password again
it works for some time but breaks after a while.

What can I do to reproduce/debug this?
