btw, here's my thinking of how to proceed: if by monday end-of-day there is no further feedback, i'll just consider that to be a sign of consensus (or fatigue ;) and then i'll take the documents and post them to the KDE e.V. membership list where we can get the necessary "yes!" to having KDE put our name on these and back the proposal. to make this work, we'd need the same to happen with GNOME, X.org and as many other projects and organizations as possible on this list. Mozilla Foundation, OSDL, OpenOffice, LinuxPrinting.org, you name it. with names applied to the bottom of the documents, we should then make these avaliable on our websites. we're already prepping in that direction within KDE so we'll be ready for it. and i assume that the name of the website's project will appear first in the list on that website, as your visitors and readers probably care most about your project =) any objects, feedback, etc most welcome. otherwise i'm going to go back to enjoying the -14C weather. not. =P -- Aaron J.
