Just a heads up for your fix:
I ran into the same issue and noticed that the current file resizing does
not keep the ratio when using targetWidth AND targetHeight at the same time -
at least with the target DATA_URL.
On iOS targetWidth and targetHeight are understood as maxWidith and
maxHeight, which is more desired by most users I guess.
