Hi @Hirbod -- I created a new project, added the ios platform and the
statusbar plugin (from github). Then added this:
```window.addEventListener("statusTap", function() { alert('tap'); });```
Launched the project, and tapped the statusbar. It immediately called my
function. So I can't repro what you've seen. Can you try with a new project?
