Also, my primary use case is launching an app via Cortana. (e.g.,

Importantly, the recognized intent, semantic details, and results from the
speech recognizer, are accessed through: e.detail.result
This wasn't getting saved, making it impossible to develop a full-featured
Cortana plugin.
