A use case to consider: I will often edit a doc in futon, remove the _rev,
change the _id, and re-save (typically because the doc is complex and I would
like to have a near-copy). It's not clear from the above if the intent is to
remove the ability to do that, but it's a use case that's useful to at least
this user. Thanks!
