You are right of course.
Some of the reasons I thought about briefly:
  * control over all fortress dependencies
  * less likely to be abandoned completely should Berin go on a 5-year
    trip to Nepal
  * Berin seems to like having it over here
  * sourceforge cvs is slow
Of course, we can also still move the packages over somewhere else 
should Berin go to Nepal.
