AOP != Interceptors Interceptors can be explained as an around-joins, but they are more than that. The only thing I've enthusiastically considered was the Brian McCallister's work on interceptors [ http://kasparov.skife.org/intercept.html ] but decided to not force fortress to be locked into a specific project - that is not even on ASF or Codehaus.
