Hi All,
Hope all is going well.
Attached is a draft (ie. untested) patch I've been working on that adds support
for using Commons VFS as a protocol engine in the source resolver.
Commons VFS supports CIFS, FTP, file, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, WebDAV, ZIP, JAR,
BZIP2, and GZIP so far. Using this patch, all of these protocols are available
through the source resolver.
Currently, only Source is implemented (ie. read-only), I intend to add support
for Modifiable and Traversable Source soon, along with some test cases to
validate everything. I'm posting what I've implemented so far in case anyone
else wants to jump onboard as well.
