I think Marcus really needs no introduction. He was around at avalon for a long time, then left it for various reasons. As a policy for me I think emeritus avalon committers should usually be welcome here. He's currently working with fortress and excalibur again, and has been doing useful stuff.
We've voted on the PMC list, and by consensus welcome him aboard as a new committer! Hurray!
Marcus, your SVN access should be set up soon. I'm adding user "crafterm" to the excalibur group in jira, so you'll be able to resolve issues and the like.
