Starting from a clean repo, mvn clean install runs through again now, all dependencies (except for saxon 7.9.1 which is being uploaded to maven central as we speak) are downloaded, all modules compile, all tests pass.

How can we move to the jar-verification stage now? Shall i make one big bundle of my local repo or do people prefer to do a local mvn install ?

I'ld like to have this done before Cocoon 2.2 is released, which will

I would need a week or two to get everything cleaned up and released.

What do you have in mind when you say "a release" ? Would you like to
still do some bugfixes beforehand ?

The only thing I'd like to see is OSGi manifests in the excalibur
components, but it's continually been on my "to do" list for months
now. I wouldn't hold up the release for just this.

Otherwise, Leo captured all my other comments.
