Google recently announced a mobile platform called Android. An important part
of that platform is their Dalvik VM, which can run "modified" Java bytecode. It
is possible to make the framework load bundles on dalvik with some small
modifications (as described in this article:
http://blog.luminis.nl/luminis/entry/osgi_on_google_android_using). The
changes are very small, the overhead is low, and we will not create a
dependency on anything so I will go ahead and commit the support.
