Lin Sun reported that daytrader streamer client won't start since it tries to
start server modules such as rmi-naming. I've reproduced this and found some
other problems such as missing spec jars etc. These are currently entangled in
some other work so I'm just adding a patch that may not work here.... will try
to straighten it out and apply soon.
