The installation of geronimo-boilerplate-minimal or jaxws-tools plugins creates
those META-INF directories in the different assemblies.
To omit those directories from the assemblies I added support for file excludes
to ArchiverGBean and the car-maven-plugin. And then configured the
car-maven-plugin to exclude META-INF/** files from certain assemblies.
These changes were committed to trunk (revision 627659).
