section on its own wiki page. What I want is a set of eclipse wiki pages for
each release. We can create a set for the upcoming GEP 2.1.3 now. The server
is getting ready to release 2.1.3, and we want to release GEP 2.1.3 as soon
after that as possible, if not concurrently. For GEP 2.1.3, we are down to one
feature that provides both the v20 and v21 server adapters. So, the
installation will change. We'll also ship updatesite.zip, and need install
instructions for it. As part of the release process, a staging site is
created, and install instructions are needed so folks can test the new release
for voting purposes. I want to have the install instructions in the wiki, and
they may as well be the final doc version, as much as possible. Tim has done a
great job on this in the past, and I figure we might as well have this doc be
production level. My idea is that we my not have the right screen shots, but
the text would be correct. Ashish, if you can create the GEP 2.1.3 pages, I
can update the install text, and you could add the screen shots. Or, you could
take a shot at the all of it! Tim is updating the nightly build script to ftp
the build to http://people.apache.org/dist/geronimo/eclipse/unstable/2.1.3/.
This structure will mimic the production site
http://apache.org/dist/geronimo/eclipse/. So
http://people.apache.org/dist/geronimo/eclipse/unstable/2.1.3/2.1.3 will
contain release notes and the deployable and updatesite zip files.
http://people.apache.org/dist/geronimo/eclipse/unstable/2.1.3/updates will be
the update site, which will be the updatesite.zip file extracted.
