i worked a while ago on 1.4 and 1.5. If i recall correctly we released 1.4 as an alpha version because no one were able to execute the TCK. >From my point of view its ready for a release but i don't know if this requires TCK pass.
For 1.5 i worked on the spec part, but thats not finished.
