Thanks a ton(!) for all the efforts on this Harish. It's a mountain to
be moved to make this happen, and I am very happy to see this going over
the finish line.
Also call out to David Arthur, for his outstanding support!
The bug-bash we did was great, but it's the nature of web-pages to
literally always have some errors. So I am totally in favor to just make
the switch, and avoid chasing a moving target. For 4.1 and older
releases, docs should be stable, and if we cut over now, we can just
fix-forward anything for upcoming 4.2 release, so I think it's pretty
good timing to do to now IMHO. The release will force us naturally to
check docs, and find issue.

Hi all,
Following the community review, I would like to call for a vote on cutting
over to markdown based AK website (KIP 1133). Fully functional site is live
on staging at https://kafka.staged.apache.org/.
If the Vote Passes:
- I will migrate the source documentation in the docs directory of the
apache/kafka repository to Markdown for versions *3.5 and newer.*
- Older versions (pre-3.5) will be left as-is (HTML) in the kafka repo to
avoid disruption.
- Update CI/CD deploy the markdown branch to the live production site.
