have seen a number of requests for it as of late. It was
formally known

maven-archetype-j2ee but after discussion on the mailing list and
on irc
with jdcasey and jason we decided to rename to j2ee-simple and
most likely
release a number of variations on the j2ee project layout. I
know vmassol
has other thoughts on a more industrial scale layout which can be
released
along side this simple one.
I'll keep open for 72hrs and then sum up
