persistence-api is not required by jpox/jdo
I added it to encapsulate jdo exceptions under a common/neutral
exception hierarchy (and runtime). I just added the exceptions under
maven-user so they build with JDK 1.4.

javax.persistence:persistence-api:1.0 (which is compiled under jdk 1.5)
If we continue down this path, continuum and archiva will have a jdk 1.5
requirement as well.
I know this is undesired, but I was hoping someone in here would have a
good solution for this.
