I have uploaded two new patch files (myfaces-share-patch.txt and myfaces-tomahawk-patch.txt). For some reason, Subclipse creates these patch files with absolute paths in them, so I don't know if it will work correctly when you try to apply them. I took the approach of modifying the org.apache.myfaces.renderkit.html.ext.HtmlCheckboxRenderer instead of the superclass (HtmlCheckboxRendererBase).
