Put whatever you want on the trunk if its not necessary to have in the upcoming release. At this stage I wouldn't try to fix anything in the upcoming release (the shared and core branches) that is not a complete show stopper. Once we get this release finally out the door (we're not there yet unfortunately) it will be easier to do subsequent releases (really I think it will.)
