Hi Volker, When I designed the Tobago logo I kept in mind the island shape of the current logo symbol. In my opinion, I thought that is not a good solution because for example if we use this pattern for another island, for example Trinidad, we will have another island logo. I was focused to find something distinctive for this island especially from Trinidad that is actually part in the same country Trinidad&Tobago. In final I found that the Tobago island is very famous about its biodiversity, and I use a stylized tropical plant to suggest that. But is only my opinion. What do you think about that ?
Of course I can provide for you a new variation of the logo in the Tobago island shape. After all logos will be finished I will reserve some time to provide additional variation for controversial logos.
