Of course this should be done in an orderly fashion. Not sure once Apache gets 
the domain if they will agree to this, particularly hg.netbeans.org since that 
will be like hosting / distributing source code they don't own and somebody 
will certainly rush to veto this.

I think there are a whole bunch of domains and URLs(!) that would be a shame 
not to have an orderly migration. Google ranking and general discoverability is 
going to be terrible if we just drop these domains from the Internet.

I remember a while back I wanted to start an 'Archival Project' to preserve 
most of what's right now online, but I saw little feedback from the Oracle side 
on getting access to the data (for example, a bugzilla database dump) and I 
don't feel like scrapping the whole website myself. Bugzilla of course, also 
has a ton of historical, contextual knowledge that will be terrible if it goes 
away -- commits and comments routinely reference bugzilla and much of the meat 
of understanding what happened is in the bugzilla comments.
