Hi Junichi,
There's no requirement to host the logo on _our_ website. The
requirement is to upload the logo to http://www.apache.org/img/.
The logos at http://trafficontrol.incubator.apache.org, for instasnce,
are hosted at trafficontrol.incubator.apache.org (i.e. there's no link
to www.apache.org/img).
I tend to think this is either a bug in whimsy's website checks or the
"suffix" in our logo as uploaded to http://www.apache.org/img/.
Regarding the SVG logo, this renders properly in high dpi screens as
well, is small and fast, and well supported.
I've already sent an email to whimsy's check maintainers, and I'm
awaiting for a response. I'll keep you posted.
