Yes, it had a form, on a landing page, and then allowed folks to self invite, and it had a bot you invited to Slack to let it manage it. They had other bots too. Anyways, we could definitely implement it ourselves, but the infra and service was free. We’d have to setup something on the VM at Apache to do it (that or run something in the cloud). There are some OSS packages to do this too. Or, we find some other service. If we do get another service, I think we should give it a CNAME, so if we change it it doesn’t matter going forward; well, CNAME either way.
