Trademarks and Registrations should be in the footer of the page along where
the Java and Oracle current ones are. The use of trademarks like Java and
Oracle in tutorials is in no way any different from using Windows/macOS/Linux.
There is way to much use of the TM trademarks in the tutorials and its not
necessary.
At most, you use it on the first instance and thats it. The footer however
should be fine and no use should be required in a tutorial unless referring to
a trademark not mentioned in the footer.
Apache would be best to consult with this since its under there umbrella.
Does Netbeans have a page how its logo and trademark should be used?

Hi,
This just occurred to me last night. I wondered if Linux had a
trademark, as I have been adding one for Windows(TM) and macOS(TM).
Well, I found this site:
https://www.linuxfoundation.org/trademark-usage/
It never occurred to me before because in the ten or so years that I
used Linux I never came across a registered mark.
Well, now I know. Given that licensing has been of great importance to
the NetBeans project, should I update my revised docs to include:
Linux(R)
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Regards
Jeremy
