Hi Eveyone,

Thank you for the announcement Julien and thank you to all users and devs
who have helped me through my early phases of using the Nutch project. I am
very happy to have been considered for both committership and PMC membership
as it sets a platform for me to further enhance my knowledge and experience
using this great project.
Over recent months many of us will have witnessed first hand the transition
to a better, more focussed Nutch implementation which now exists as release
1.3. Those of us now using 1.3 and above realise the power of this framework
and this can only bode good things for the future vision and planned
progression of Nutch as an extremely important top level Apache Software
Foundation project.
Amongst other things, it has been mentioned recently that the documentation
for Nutch 1.3 is thin at best therefore my initial intention is to
substantiate on this to provide a rich resource for all users of Nutch 1.3.
In recent times our wiki has become slightly dated therefore a face lift if
required to provide an accurate, concise and transparent material resource
for the community.

Thank you again

Lewis
