Great, [~talat]! Tested: the response time is successfully stored in CrawlDb. 
Changes in patch trunk_v2 are purely cosmetic. The description in 
nutch-default.xml is taken from [~lewismc]'s commit to 2.x and extended 
(response time stored under "_rs_" in CrawlDb).
Both, 1.x and 2.x now store the response time per default, users have to 
disable it explicitly in nutch-site.xml. Objections? I think, we can afford the 
extra little space to store the response time.
