New patch which removes unnecessary logging implementations.
Also implements correct code formatting which is defined within

[~nimafl] thank you SO much for taking this one on. Really nice patch. I hope
that you stick around to help us make the webapp something from which everyone
can benefit... even when we port it back to trunk codebase.
