Isabelle Giguere commented on NUTCH-3099:
-----------------------------------------
[~lewismc]: New patch NUTCH-3099.2025-10-09.patch.txt
Indentation is 2 spaces.
Unit test was actually run, this time :)
I was setup with Java 21, but that's too recent for Nutch ;). I "dumned down"
the test to not rely on Map.of(...). I don't remember if it was available in
Java 11.

> The Nutch setting "http.proxy.exception.list" should accept the '*' wildcards.
> The equivalent JVM property "http.nonProxyHosts" does allow '*' at the start
> or end of a host name.
> Note that starting Nutch with -Dhttp.nonProxyHosts="some.host" has no effect,
> crawling goes through the proxy anyways. Only "http.proxy.exception.list"
> can be used with Nutch.
