But this happens with other Boost versions as well.  If you check out the Boost 
dev list, you'll see that they play a never-ending game of whack-a-mole with 
compiler warnings (not just GCC).  Some library authors have gotten rather 
frustrated with the process.  There is a rather long discussion in the past 
month on this topic.
