Feedback welcome. --- ## Description: Apache Sling™ is a framework for RESTful web-applications based on an extensible content tree. ## Project Status: Current project status: Ongoing Issues for the board: none ## Membership Data: Apache Sling was founded 2009-06-17 (16 years ago) There are currently 51 committers and 30 PMC members in this project. The Committer-to-PMC ratio is roughly 9:5. Community changes, past quarter: - No new PMC members. Last addition was Julian Reschke on 2024-10-22. - No new committers. Last addition was Henry Kuijpers on 2023-10-19. ## Project Activity: We released version 13 of our sample application, the Sling Starter, on January 17th, 2025. Work is ongoing towards Sling Starter 14. The community is converging on a high-level approach to support the Jakarta Servlet APIs. In the meantime individual modules are being developed and released, with 41 releases for this reporting period. ## Community Health: Community health is pretty good and contributions from various individuals continue.
