We have limited Tika support here in the project for .NET, see:

Note that [~jukkaz] was the originator of this code. It works with some basic 
API and shows how to expose some of the skeleton methods of Tika using .NET 
assemblies. We don't distribute this artifact and it's not very well 
maintained. 

A better maintained version that exists downstream of the Apache project is 
here:

http://kevm.github.io/tikaondotnet/

Lots of activity, and effort to keep Tika ported to .NET.
