Let me know your outcome. The changes might have an affect as
- 1.8.9 only treats AcroForm entries as fields if they do have a /T entry
whereas 1.8.8 treats entries as fields if they are no widgets.
- 1.8.9 for buttons is now only looking up in the field hierarchy to get the
field type and thus deciding if we are dealing with a button where 1.8.8 was
additionally looking down into the fields kids
As a result with 1.8.9 there might be less fields and more widget annotations
(for edge cases)
