Hi Ben, We tried to upgrade to 1.1.18 on TIKA-1924. Unfortunately, there was a bug (which we reported [0]) that causes the parser to go into an infinite loop on some files in our test corpus. We had to back off to 1.1.7 (TIKA-1931), and unfortunately as I look this morning, that seems to be the last version that uses aspectj. The infinite loops started occurring in 1.1.9. If we can get a fix 1.1.19(?), I'll commit asap (after retesting :) ).

Newer versions of isoparser appear appear to have removed this dependency. Can someone upgrade isoparser to the latest version - 1.1.18 ? (I'd do it myself, but I can't create a JIRA - I started a separate email thread about that) Thanks, Ben -- about.me/benmccann
