We are about to initiate a project to switch all of our applications from a
mixture of Tomcat 6/7 to Tomcat 8 so having this plugin available soon would be
really useful.
I'm about to go away on my honeymoon for 3 weeks but I will take a look at this
when I get back at the end of October from the 26th.
I'll also take a look at MTOMCAT-274 which looks like it could block this
feature but seems to have a closed pull request by the reporter so its not
clear to me whether or not it is a real issue.
Then there is also MTOMCAT-294 which I'll review the open pull request for.
If there is anything else that would be useful for me to do in order to get
closer towards a 3.0 release, please do let me know.
