arturobernalg opened a new pull request, #1149:
URL: https://github.com/apache/tomcat/pull/1149

   RFC 9110, section 15.2: "Since HTTP/1.0 did not define any 1xx status codes,
a server MUST NOT send a 1xx response to an HTTP/1.0 client."

   When an application calls `sendEarlyHints()` (or `sendError(103)`),
`Http11Processor.earlyHints()` wrote a `HTTP/1.1 103` response even if the
request was `HTTP/1.0`. Sending the 100 Continue interim response is already
skipped for HTTP/1.0 because the `Expect` header is only honoured for HTTP/1.1.

   The early hints are now skipped when the request is not HTTP/1.1. They are
only hints, so the final response is unaffected. Early hints for HTTP/1.1 and
HTTP/2 are unchanged.

   `testEarlyHintsHttp10` in `TestHttp11Processor` fails without the change
(`expected:<200> but was:<103>`). All of the `coyote/http11` tests,
`TestStreamProcessor`, `TestResponse` and `TestCoyoteAdapter` pass.
