If we can have a distribution (or distributions) that work well for everything that is great but having distributions that work well for everything except Maven would not be great in my opinion. I don't use Ant much these days, in fact AFAIR the only time i've ever used it for ages was to test the Ant builds of the Tuscany samples. Surveys i've seen show more open source projects now use Maven than Ant, a lot of the user posts to the mailing list seem like they use Maven. Fine by me to show support for using Ant with the samples but I think its just as if not more important to show Maven support. ...ant
