NOTE: If you read nothing else, the new Convergence Schedule is available at [3] and we're currently in the C1 milestone for another ~2 weeks. Anything marked for a Convergence Target Milestone will require an exception if left unfinished in that milestone. For instructions on how to land in each milestone, please see [4].
We've been spending the last few weeks ensuring that: * All blocking-basecamp+ bugs have a priority (see [1] and [2]) * All P1 bugs are assigned * All P1/Critical dogfooding blockers are getting fixed on the order of hours/days We've now moved on to the next step in ensuring sure we hit our ship target: * The creation of Convergence Milestones in 2-4 week intervals for the remainder of the year * Assigning remaining groups of work to specific milestones (please see [3] for specifics) * Work that is assigned to a specific milestone and does not hit its deadline will require an exception to get pushed into the next * Executive Review checkpoints will be held after each milestone to make sure that everybody understands our bug burn down at a high level, and sees those bugs that did not meeting the timeline During triage sessions today, we'll start making progress on assigning bugs that meet our convergence milestone criteria to specific milestones.
