Followupon the previous email now with all the feedback from the last week.
As always if you have any questions about any of these, just let me
know. Note, I can't follow up on a number of the more recent posts as a
number of comments seem to be missing an asset tagand contact info. I'll
try to glean what I can.
New issues (weren't seen in reports prior to 11/5):
* A recent update seems to have made the bottom icon bar disappear for
some users ** CRITICAL**
* Possibly related, the keyboard doesn't launch reliably
* More complaints around updating, including things like it not handling
switching from wifi to edge smoothly
* Keyboard has gotten worse latelyin terms of responsiveness
* Something happened to battery life. Recent comments seem to indicate
that some users are getting just hours of battery life randomly.
* Screen doesn't always turn off when it's supposed to (may be related
to the above)
* Didn't update time with daylight savings time
More followup issues that were previously unreported (but might not be new):
* Email notifications don't stack, you just get lotsand lots of
notifications.
* Email takes a long time to load (seems to be downloading fresh from
the server each time instead of caching?)
* Can't send pictures over SMS
* When quickly launching two apps (for example, loading one app and
while waiting, loading another app), the phone can sometimes hang on the
app switcher. (This may be a recent problem since it's coming up a lot)
* Switching apps can be buggy (for example, tapping the icon for an open
app doesn't reliably switch to it)
* Browser thumbnails for the app switcher reflow and look bad/flicker
* Gifs don't load in browser
* Can't send files over bluetooth
* Cost control settings cause phone to sometimes crash/hang
* SMS messages in the wrong order (not timestamped)
* Some settings are lost with restarts
* Feedback app loses text when no data connection
* Can't cancel a system update
There are lots of little cosmetic things (text overlaps, typos, etc).Not
sure if you want me to report on those as well.

* When resuming the email app, can show items as unread even when
they're read
* Can't attach things when composing email
* Issues with connecting gmail
* Email gives black screen
== Calendar ==
* Can't set reminders/alarms
* Does not adjust times by timezone
* When viewing a specific date, it always starts at 12 AM, looking blank
* Some issues with long location names and long calendar names
==Maps ==
* Doesn't locate very accurately (> 1 mi off)
* Maps app settings don't work
* Maps become unresponsive if the phone goes to sleep
* Constant reminders to switch on geolocation from app
== Wifi ==
* Constant disconnects
* Doesn't connect on startup/restart
* Cannot connect to hidden network (password protected)
* MAC address is all zeros
* "Connecting to null" when connecting to Mozilla-G
* When WiFi disconnects, it doesn't connect to the cellular network,
needs restart
== Updates ==
* No progress indicator
* Notification bar doesn't turn into an "Install" notification. You
have to close the notification area to get the install prompt
* Not completing, restarting or reprompting after just doing anupdate.
==Keyboard ==
* Laggy, pauses.
* Haptic feedback doesn't always correspondto when you tap, especially
if it's lagging.
== Clock ==
* Didn't "Fall back" from DST until you turn on data
* Alarm doesn't work
* Clock settings don't always stick (or reset by restart)
== Camera/Gallery ==
* Photos are upside down/can't rotate them
== Music ==
* No way to see music player statusfrom home screen/notification bar
== Browser ==
* "Work offline" has confusing instructionsinvolving the File menu
* Can't open links in a new tab/window
== Task switcher ==
* Not intuitive how to start the task switcher
* Not clear how to quit a task from the switcher
* Quickly switching tasks can really lag, freeze the phoneto the point
of needing a reboot
== Other apps/Marketplace ==
* Sounddoesn't stop after closing some marketplace games/apps
