Hi all,

Many of you may be wondering about the large number of invalid bugs coming out
of our testrun contractors. We apologize for the noise, and ask you to bear
with us.

We also ask you to understand that this is actually a necessary pain point as
we scale and grow our QA and requirements processes.

Our strategy? Essentially, if it deviates from the testcase or requirements,
bug it.

The invalid cases, which we'll follow up on after crunch week is over, give us
essential data on which requirements and testcases have drifted; and where
exactly we need to improve our
processes/testcases/usecases/requirements/product.

Of course, the value of the valid bugs goes without saying.

You should, by default, have read access to the testcases that we'll start
including links for in our bugs. If for some reason this is not the case, or
you need more, hop into #moztrap and hit up me (jammink) or Cameron Dawson
(camd). The use-case IDs are, of course, available in the usual place.

.john
