In order for Release Engineering to shake down v1.0.1 automation, we are creating a v1.0.1 branch in Gaia. This branch will become the real v1.0.1 release branch, akin to v1.0.0, but will not be updated with v1.0.1 code until we reach the actual v1.0.1 branch point. *DON'T LAND CODE TO THE v1.0.1 BRANCH YET*
When we reach the actual v1.0.1 branch point, we'll pave over the v1.0.1 branch with the contents of the v1-train branch. Currently, and until we branch v1.0.1 for real, the correct place for v1.0.1 code to land is the master and v1-train branch. After we branch for v1.0.1 the correct place for gaia v1.0.1 code will be master, v1-train and v1.0.1.
