Did you think about some expandable sync service within Firefox OS?

Neither Android, nor iOS don't really offer a good Sync option.
Hotsync on Palm OS was so great, that many Palm users still did not find any replacement nowadays.

So what's worse on Android & Co?

1. You only can sync few things. Android offers Contacts, ToDo-List and Calender. But even the Calender only works for appointsments within a year, which sometimes is too few for corporations.

You also cannot really expand this. On Palm OS you were able to enhance Sync options for work times, dictaphone recordings, etc.

2. If you find one of the few apps that offer some sync, you have to sync all apps manually while you just hat to push one button on Palm OS to sync all your Apps.

3. Putting files on Dropbox etc. is no replacement since you could change Data on both sides with Palm OS. For example you add a ToDo job on the PC and also on the Device and will have it on the list together after doing the sync.

4. Sync nowadays mostly will just work over Internet. This which will make it slower if you want to sync video or audio. Also it has been a problem on our company since people go abroad and will have to sync their device with their Laptop without causing roaming cost. Not to metion the fact that most of the data will be collected by Google or Apple.

So there are still a lot of needs if you want to sync your data. It would be great if Firefox OS would offer some good central synchronisation service, since the sync problem appears to be unsolved for many users who used to know how this worked on Palm OS.
